The Public Utility Regulatory Commission (PURC) says it has initiated the process for the examination and approval of electricity and water tariffs for the 2022-2027 multi-year tariff review period.
It said the process is in accordance with the PURC Act, 1997, (Act 538).
A statement issued by the PURC said it was yet to analyze the proposals submitted by the various service providers and decide on them.
It expressed its readiness to meet stakeholders such as the Media, and Parliamentary Select Committee on Energy, among others.
It further promised to engage in a transparent, participatory and inclusive approach to the tariff determination.
