Western Regional Police Command Sensitise Traders at the Takoradi Market
As part of efforts to enhance Police-public partnership, the Western Regional Police command sensitized traders at the Takoradi central market on personal security issues.
The programme which was attended by 300 traders represented by Queen mothers of various foodstuffs associations was led by the Western Regional Commander DCOP/Mr. Alex Fosu-Agyeman, who took traders through various security aspects, most especially personal safety.
DCOP/Mr. Alex Fosu-Agyeman advised traders to remain vigilant and always be suspicious of persons they come into contact with in order not to fall victim to miscreants.
He also urged them to volunteer information on criminal activities to the police without fear and emphasized that the command needs their support to forge ahead in the fight against crime.
