We’re working to prevent an outbreak of Coronavirus in Ghana-MOH reassures

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reiterated that it has in place measures to protect the nation from the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Ghana.

A statement issued by the Ministry says there would be a National Technical Coordinating Committee (NTCC) to review the resilience of our current arrangements to prevent an outbreak.

It has also admonished the general public to adhere to basic hygienic measures including regular washing of hands with soap and water.

Two people from the same family have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK.

According to the chief medical officer for England the two were guests at the Staycity apartment-hotel in York, before being taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
