Eleven wonders are at the bottom of the league log, 16th position with 37 points on the league log of the ongoing Ghana Premier League which will be ended on June 19, 2022.
But the playing body of the eleven wonders team has threatened not to go to training and not even play the last home match against Aduana Stars due to unpaid arrears.
The players are demanding their salaries.
Speaking in an interview on Rainbow sports, Mohammed Ali who is the PRO for the team confirmed that it is true that the team owes the players.
He first rendered an apology to the players for such an unusual circumstance.
He further said the chief of the town and some big men in the town called the players to speak to appeal to them over the matter.
“The players have since returned to training. We have promised them that the money will be paid before they honour the game against Aduana stars,” he added.
He added that the financial aspect of the teams in Ghana is very problematic because the league itself has no headline sponsor.
“So the club owners in the country are really suffering in paying their players.”
