The Kwabenya Traditional Council has asked the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) group to relocate their office to an Island if they value their lives and safety.
Speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the Council said the day used to open the office location was a day meant for the gods of the land, making the action of the group a sacrilege.
A representative of the Council, Nii Mensah Dza Nyomo I, said they would not entertain their presence in the community.
He argued God created man and woman to reproduce and not man and man or woman to woman.
According to him, they will only accept the activities of the LGBT the relation between a man and a man produces a child or the relation between a woman, and another woman produces a child.
”If not, we cannot accept them here. This is a sacrilege and a curse. It is demonic and evil.
”We will not allow them to destroy the community with their evil practice. Their parents gave birth to them, but today, they want to be allowed, to sleep with each other.”
The Council had threatened to go after those behind the meeting and burn the house down should it establish that the alleged meeting took place in the community.
He said the council had information that a group of people who claimed to be LGBTQI held a meeting in a house at Ashongman last week.
He said the council was not happy about the development and are currently probing to ensure they are not allowed to operate.
