Wasa Dopem gets new Chief
The Wasa Dopem of Wasa Fiase Traditional Council has enstooled Mr Agyei Denkye as the new Chief of Wasa Donpem.
He has been given the stool name, Nana Anyiwa Panyin IV.
He was enstooled by the Paramount Chief of Wasa Fiase Traditional Council Nana Oketekyie Ntiful Asare the V.
Nana Kwasi Akrosa the Gyasehene of Wasa Fiase traditional council urged the new chief of Wasa Donpim not to be womanizer, dictator, and a drunkard.
He further admonished him to use the resources of Donpim well.
He challenged him to be a traditional leader who will leave behind a lasting legacy for generation unborn.
Taking his turn to address his people, the new chief, promised to protect them from intruders and lawless people.
He promised to deliver an open form of leadership that will provide the people with an opportunity to seek justice from any form of challenges.
”I will be there with you whether rain or shine. At every point you call me, I will avail myself as your chief and be there for you. I will not be impartial. I will serve with diligence and respect the traditions of our land. I will hold in high esteem the oath I swore to you,” he added.
Nana Anyiwa Panyin IV called on his people to unite and transform the area.
He encouraged them to put behind them the past and forge ahead so the community will be peaceful and invite investors to come and invest in the area.
Some residents were grateful and commended the traditional authority for installing the new chief.
They were hopeful, the new chief, will live by his promise and help transform the community.
