Head Pastor of Global Evangelical Methodist Church, Apostle Dr. Daniel Agyei has bemoaned the reduction in offertory and tithes in churches.
Joining the #FixTheCountry demonstration on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, the man of God said there is severe hardship and suffering in Ghana.
He opined that church members are broke and could no longer give their tithes and offertory to support God’s work.
For this reason, he joined the demonstration to demand from the government to fix the country.
According to him, unemployment is something that has also affected the church and must be addressed.
He stated that bad leadership in Ghana has created challenges for the country.
To him, he is neither for nor against the NPP and NDC but he is against poor leadership.
He said we need good governance to ensure that Ghanaians get jobs to do so they could also support God’s work.
