Two Police Officers promoted for arresting another officer in possession of narcotics

For their bravery and dedication to the service with integrity call in arresting a police officer who had substances suspected to be narcotics, two police officers have been promoted by the Police Service.

The promoted officers are Inspector Azuma Komla Justice and Lance Corporal Felix Diameh.

The two arrested General Sergent Lotsu Agbeko who failed to stop after he had been signaled to do so at Have Police barrier.

He was given a hot chase by the officers and upon reaching a junction at the Kpeve mountain, he was involved in an accident and suffered a fracture in the left hand.

He was arrested and sent to the hospital for treatment.

According to the Police, 84 parcels of substances suspected to be Indian hemp were retrieved from his car.

The Police said the suspect would be put before court immediately after he recover from the accident.
