Trust the NPP, we’ve what it takes to restore confidence in the economy- Kodua

General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), lawyer Justin Kodua, has asked Ghanaians to trust in the government since it has what it takes to restore confidence in the Ghanaian economy.

The lawyer says when there are challenges, the confidence people have in the government will go down and when there are opportunities available for people, the confidence will go high.

He was responding to recent surveys which revealed that respondents no longer have confidence in the government since they believe the country was heading in the wrong direction.

The chief scribe assured Ghanaians that the government has what it takes to restore confidence in the economy.

To him, the NPP has a track record of maintaining a stable economy anytime they are in office hence the people should trust in them.

He was speaking at a media engagement held to commemorate the 30th-anniversary celebration of the NPP.

He argued that we cannot ignore the negative impact of Covid-19 and the Russian-Ukraine war on the economy.

He said since the president took over, he has exhibited exceptional leadership which has transformed the country despite the challenges we are currently facing.
