Three suspected robbers beat to death

Three suspected robbers have been killed over an alleged robbery incident in the Akrofuom district of the Ashanti region.

According to the information gathered, the residents got information from Yaa Dome a nearby community in the Akrofuom district that some armed robbers were in the area carrying out an operation.

The suspect is robbers were robbing gold dealers.

The residents in Yaa Dome after hearing the information mounted a barrier to block the robbers.

Later, the bus carrying the robbers drive towards the barrier and the residents’ reporter stopped the car.

Four out of the seven suspected robbers managed to escape but three were arrested.

Those arrested have been identified as Sardick Mohammed -35 years, Issah Adams- 39 years, and Kwabena Dagati, 41 years.

Some weapons were retrieved from them.

The weapons retrieved were an AK47, cutlass, a pistol among others.

The residents allegedly attacked the three, lynched them following which they died.
