COVID-19: Three more herbal medicines submitted for testing

Ghana maybe finding a cure for the deadly coronavirus outbreak as a set of three new herbal medicines, have been presented to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for testing by the Amen Scientific Herbal Hospital.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the award-winning facility Dr. Amin Osei Bonsu told Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the facility recently treated with some symptoms l that the drugs such as cough, fever, headache, etc.

According to him, they submitted the drugs to the facility after it turned out to be effective on the symptoms stated.

Dr. Amin Bonsu was optimistic that the drugs would be effective and serve a good purpose.

The three drugs he revealed include an immune booster, capsules for the treatment of sore throat and other ailments and the third one for treating fever.

He said: “When the outbreak came into Ghana, as a facility, we prayed and sought God’s guidance and we were able to identify these drugs. We have submitted the drugs for testing. As I speak to you, I will be submitting samples at the Ministry of Health.”
