Sweat for the team, play as you are angry-Tony Baffoe to Black Stars

The Black Stars of Ghana lost in their group opening game against Morocco in the African Cup of Nation in Cameroon by a goal to nil.

The team will play their next game against Gabon in the second group c encounter today at the Stade Ahmaduo Ahidjo stadium in Cameroon.

Anthony Baffoe who was the Deputy General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football and a former Ghana International footballer was at the final training of the Black Stars ahead of their next game against Gabon to motivate the players.

After the training, the former captain met the players to boost their morale ahead of that crucial game.

He asked them.to see the game as a “do of do affair”.

“Guys this game is a do or do, put that in your head. Show anger, show anger you want to win. Play with anger, you can’t afford to lose this game” he said.

Thomas Partey the Arsenal star was not at his best when the Black Stars lost their first game against Morocco.

Anthony Baffoe directly said to Thomas Partey

“Thomas Partey, I am telling you, you can’t allow yourself to have a bad day, you can’t, it’s impossible. Sweat for the nation, sweat for the flag, sweat for your family” he added.

The Black Stars are hoping to get their first win of the tournament today against Gabon.
