Stay safe, let’s not record any fire outbreak this Eid al-Fitr season-GNFS to Muslims

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has advised Muslims Ghanaians to stay safe as they prepare to end their Ramadan in the face of the coronavirus outbreak.

Whiles extending their best wishes to Muslims, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the service Ellis Robinson Okoe underscored the need for families to take precautionary measures to prevent outbreaks this Eid al-Fitr season.

The PRO also advised them to properly extinguish smoking materials.

He said we need everyone alive before after the celebration hence the need for us all to be responsible and prevent outbreaks this festive season.

He urged them to avoid overloading of sockets, avoid high inflammable liquid, overheating of electrical equipment, and gas leakage.

He asked them to call the emergency 192 win case there is an outbreak of fire.
