Sports Ministry pays two months arrears to Kwasi Appiah
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has paid two months arrears to former Blackstars coach James Kwasi Appiah.
The amount paid to the former coach is $70,000 as part payment of his outstanding salary arrears and bonus.
The state is indebted to the coach to the tune of $185,000.
Per the amount paid, there is an outstanding balance of $115,000 to be paid to the coach.
The Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah some weeks ago confirmed at a press briefing that the state was indebted to the former coach and plans were underway to pay him.
