Some female clients demand sex during massage-Beautician
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Saint Knii Beauty Massage and Lounge, Daniel Addoquaye, has disclosed to Rainbowradiionline.com that some clients demand for sex after massage.
In an up-close and personal interview with this website, the beautician and cosmetologist said there some few female clients who try to take advantage of them, especially if you are a male.
”Sometimes you go to some of these female clients to massage them, and they would want to take advantage of you. Some of them demand sex.”
According to him, he has been confronted with such challenges, but as a professional, he did not fall for the temptation.
When asked what he did with such clients after these encounters, he said he had no option than to delist such clients.
”Once you are on my massage table, it is strictly business. So I just behave as a professional, but if you keep demanding for that,. then you will lose me as a therapist.”
The therapist stressed, when the person keeps asking for the sex more twice, you stop going to them.
Another misconception he spoke about was the fact that males in the beauty and therapy business are gays.
To him, you cannot perceive every male therapist as a gay because it is wrong and uncouth.
”There is the perception that this job is for ladies and so, once you are a man and you are in the beauty industry, then everybody will perceive you to be an LGBT community member, which is wrong. Its not everybody in this work who is an LGBT community member.”
Beauty School was not easy
Going through beauty school for him was not an easy task considering the fact that he was the only male among several ladies.
He said there were times the ladies discouraged him to pursue other courses because they felt beauty therapy was not meant for men.
‘’But I kept fighting and always topped my class,’’ he added.
Pursing this profession he confessed has been a blessing for him and would be planning to expand his business and set up a school to train persons interested in the beauty industry.
Working as a therapist he disclosed has been fun and ” I love what i do. So I don’t get tired”.
I’ve met top personalities
Touching on the people he has worked on, the beauty therapist said he has worked on Ghana’s former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, the late Terry Bonchaka’s mum.
The rest are Diamond Appiah, an actress, Nana Boro, a Ghanaian top musician.
For events, he has attended the Ghana Fashion and Design Week event among other top events.
He was optimistic the unemployed youth could take advantage of the industry, learn the profession because after training you become self employed and establsih your business.
He said even if you do not have a station and you are good at home service, your clients will keep coming and recommend your services to others.
