Remain calm, ‘Blue Boy’ admonishes supporters after disqualification
Mr. Patrick Ampong-Baidoo, the parliamentary candidate hopeful who had filed to contest the Weija-Gbawe New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries has called for calm among his supporters after he was disqualified.
The Greater Accra Regional Secretary Nii Odarlai Parker told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that, the aspirant had threatened to kill the chairman of the vetting committee over the sale of his nominations forms.
He also accused him of intimidating party members and using land guards to torment people in the party.
These were some of the allegations based on which the party disqualified him.
But reacting to his disqualification, the aspirant called for calm among his supporters.
In a statement issued and signed by his personal assistant Taofik Mohammed, the aspirant promised to use all laid down procedures to address his disqualification.
