Premier, Division One Leagues to resume October 30-Prez

President Akufo-Addo has announced the return of the Ghana Premier League and Division One.

In his 17th national address on the measures adopted by the government in managing the outbreak, he said, the leagues will resume on October 30 but in strict adherence to the safety protocols.

He said per the guidelines, there would be no spectators at the training grounds of the team’s.

The teams are also expected to conduct regular testing of their players and management team members.

Matches organized would only accept 25% of spectators at the various stadiums with spectators wearing their face masks and adhering to safety protocols.

All other contact sports he added would only resume after the necessary considerations have been done.
