Odumase will get a district hospital-Prez
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised the chiefs and people of Odumase a district hospital.
The president who was speaking at a durbar of chiefs during his tour of the Bono Region said the district hospital forms part of the agenda to construct district hospitals in districts without district hospitals.
The outbreak of the coronavirus he explained gave us the opportunity to assess some challenges confronting the health sector and also provide the needed solutions to address them.
He said he had earlier promised to construct 88 district hospitals but the number has been increased to 101 known as the agenda 101.
He also assured the chiefs and residents that they will continue to have their fair share of the national cake.
He also advised them against voting ‘skirt and blouse’ in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
He appealed to them to retain the NPP parliamentary candidate and incumbent MP Ignatius Baffour-Awuah and also give him (Nana Addo) four more years to do more.
He added the NPP would have to consolidate the gains made and do more to transform the lives of Ghanaians.
He insisted he has been truthful to Ghanaians and delivered on his promises.
In one of the President’s nationwide broadcasts to update Ghanaians on the country’s enhanced response to the coronavirus outbreak, he announced that the government would construct 88 hospitals for districts without hospitals.
However, the number has been increased to 101.
