Nunoo-Mensah retained as GOC Prez

Mr. Ben Nunoo-Mensah has been reelected Ghana Olympic Committee’s President.

He polled 35 votes against his only contender Richard Akpokavie Esq who polled 28 votes.

Nunoo-Mensah, 57, would be serving for four years..

Paul Atchoe, Frederick Otu Lartey and Mohammed Mahadi were voted as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Vice Chairmen respectively.

Mohammed Sahnoon was elected Secretary-General while Ahmed Shaib won the race to serve as deputy secretary.

Sahoon beat Richmond Quarcoo to win the position.

Frederick Acheampong, who is an Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association was also elected Treasurer after defeating Chris Essilfie.
