Nsawam: Bread sellers hit the streets over MCE nominee

Bread sellers at Nsawam in the Eastern Region have today, Friday, September 17, 2021, staged a protest from the Suhum to Kumasi Highway in disagreement with the nominated person as Metropolitan Chief Executive.

They have appealed to the President not to re-nominate the Acting MCE, Isaac Buabeng for the area.

According to them, the MCE has failed them and is also not on good terms with the MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.

The traders claimed they have gathered that the Dan Botwe report has recommended one Emmanuel Owusu Arthur, who they want and not the acting MCE.

They threatened to campaign against NPP come 2024 if the President go ahead to renominate the acting MCE.
