NPP only party to have fulfilled manifesto promises-NPP Man
The New Patriotic Party’s Chairman in the Ayawaso Central constituency Bismark Boateng has suggested it is only the party that has been able to fulfil its campaign promises in Ghana’s history.
Mr. Boateng said although the party may not have achieved all the promises sit its manifesto, they have fulfiled majority of them.
The NPP to him, the NPP is the only political party that has been able to manage and stabilise Ghana’s economy.
The implementation of the free senior high school, one-village-one-dam, one district-one-factory among other initiatives have all impacted the lives of citizens positively.
That shows how committed we are as a party, he touted.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is charing the party’s manifesto committee, which has been formed by the party.
A statement issued and by the General Secretary John Boadu said: “the committee’s mandate includes undertaking a holistic review of the party’s 2016 manifesto and to engage all relevant stakeholders on the subject with the view to coming out with the NPP’s 2020 Manifesto.”
The party anticipates that the Manifesto Committee would discharge its mandate competently and professionally, and accordingly produce a comprehensive Manifesto document that addresses all the legitimate concerns of the Ghanaian people and also meets their aspirations to propel the party to yet another resounding electoral victory at the 2020 polls.
Other members of the committee are Alan Kwodwo Kyeremateng, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Ken Offori-Atta, Madam Elizabeth Ohene, Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama, Yofi Grant, Hon. Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Hon. Kweku Agyemang-Manu and Hon. Dr. Afriyie Akoto who are all members.
