NDC will no longer determine the communication for govt & party- 1st Vice Chair

First Vice Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Danquah Smith Buttey, has stated that the era where the party allowed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to determine the pace for the government and party is over.

He said the communication of the NPP had a major challenge and the government and the party have suffered some damage.

Speaking on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said the recent surveys claiming that the government is unpopular and the ratings of the party have declined ate due to the lies and propaganda peddled by the opposition.

He asserted that the party maintained a stable economy, and introduced policies and programmes that benefited the people until the outbreak of Covid-19 and the Russian-Ukraine war.

He said “despite the recent ratings of unpopularity and claims that the claim that Ghana was heading in the wrong direction, we are assuring citizens that within the next two years, things will change. For a long time, we have allowed the NDC to peddle lies about the government. This will change. They will no longer lie to Ghanaians again about our performance. We will adopt strategies to ensure that Ghanaians know what we have done,” he added.
