Nana Addo is our greatest pandemic not COVID-19-Minority
The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Mr. Isaac Adongo, has described President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo as the biggest pandemic and not COVID-19 which has claimed 206 lives.
Speaking to the parliamentary press corps today [Friday, August 7, 2020] he said Ghanaian must vote him out come December 7, if they want a stable economy.
The legislator premised his description on parliament’s approval of the supplementary budget and the suspension of the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
He said although the Finance Minister has sought approval for an amount of ¢11,896,477,566 in the supplementary budget, he only accounted for Ghc5.3 billion.
The MP told the press when he was questioned about the remaining GHc6.5 billion and what it would be used for, he could not account for it.
Mr. Adongo added the government has already spent GHc10 billion without any proper account.
”And so, we want Ghanaians to know that our greatest pandemic is not coronavirus but President Akufo-Addo. We should rename him COVID-20 because he has mismanaged our resources. We have demanded that the government account for the money they spent on COVID-19 but they have refused. They claim they have spent over GHc1 billion on security in the COVID-19 management,” he said.
Another four years for President Akufo-Addo he warned could lead to the sale of Ghana hence the need for voters to kick the NPP out.
