Nana Addo has managed the economy poorly-Hajia Fati
Deputy Treasurer of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Bono East Region Hajia Fati aka Ama Benyiwa Doe jas opined that the economy has been on a standstill after President Akufo-Addo took over office.
She says Ghanaians are struggling and until the NPP is kicked out, the economy will continue to wallow.
Speaking in an interview on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, she stated that the current president has taken Ghanaians back to the era of slavery.
She indicated the management of the free SHS which is not a novelty as the NPP has touted- because it was first implemented by the late Dr. Nkrumah and also implemented progressively by John Mahama-has been poor.
“We are all aware that the free SHS was first implemented by the late Nkrumah in the three Northern Regions. Former President John Dramani Mahama also implemented a progressively free day school and Nana Addo came to add the boarding policy and so, he is not the one who introduced free SHS.”
Hajia Fati went on to state that because the government does not have the resources to manage the policy this year, it has used the coronavirus outbreak as an excuse and kept students at home.
Criminal activities she added is on the rise with journalists, MPs, ordinary citizens being robbed and killed by criminals.
All these things are being recorded because the current government is incompetent, insensitive, she declared.
On energy she lamented dumsor is back in Accra and businesses are struggling to survive.
She concluded by stressing on the need for Ghanaians to join the rescue mission so the NDC can rescue Ghana from the hands of the incompetent Nana Addo led administration.
