My suspension is not justified-NPP Parl aspirant

Parliamentary candidate hopeful in the Okaikwei Central, Commetey Quartey has expressed disappointment in the party for disqualifying him.

The aspirant told Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that he was still a suspended party member hence cannot contest.

Mr. Quartey, who was suspended by the party a year said he assumed his suspension had been lifted after serving the period despite not receiving an official notice to that effect.

He disclosed he was told at the vetting he was not qualified due to his suspension.

Aside from that, they told me two persons who endorsed his forms used fake ID cards.

He hinted he does not agree with the suspension because it was not justified.

He has also disputed suggestions that he has not been an active member of the party for two years.
