Mahama praises outgoing France Ambassador as she pays him a courtesy call

The outgoing French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Anne-Sophie Avé, paid a farewell call on former President John Dramani Mahama on Friday, August 19, 2022.

The former president praised HE Anne-Sophie Avé for her “outstanding promotion of Ghanaian arts and culture.”

The two leaders also discussed Ghana-France issues of mutual interest.

The topics covered include business and investment, tourism development and promotion, and her passion for Ghana.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Mahama said;

Outgoing French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Anne-Sophie Avé, paid a farewell call on me on Friday.

I appreciated her sterling work to further enhance the Ghana- France Relations and particularly her exemplary promotion of Ghana’s Arts and Culture.

We also discussed issues of mutual interest to our two countries including business and investment, development and promotion of tourism, and her love for Ghana.

I wish HE Anne-Sophie Avé well in her new role and endeavours.
