Mahama, other dignitaries sign book of condolence in memory of Rawlings
Former President John Dramani Mahama has finally signed the book of condolence in memory of the late former President JJ Rawlings after he missed the timing to sign last week Friday.
His wife, the former First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama accompanied him.
The signing of the book of condolence is to honour the founder of the party, who passed away at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital after battling short illness.
Mr. Rawlings died at age 73.
Also signing the book of condolence today, was the Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye, the Chief Justice, Justice Annin-Yeboah, and Members of the Judiciary as well President of the Ghana Bar Association; Anthony Forson signed the book around 10.00 am.
Former Foreign Affairs Minister under the erstwhile Mahama administration Hanna Tetteh has also signed.
Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Jane Mohammed has also signed the book of condolence.
