Let’s not allow registration exercise to turn into violence or conflict-Ablakwa to NDC, NPP

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has advised political parties especially the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to allow the ongoing registration exercise to degenerate into violence or conflict.

The legislator says although the NDC and NPP are two different political parties with different ideologies, they are not enemies.

Taking to Facebook after he toured some registration centres together with some NPP executives, he wrote ”We are one people irrespective of our ideological differences and therefore should not allow this registration to degenerate into violence or needless conflict.”

I joined a team of NDC and NPP constituency executives for joint monitoring of the ongoing voter registration exercise in my beloved constituency earlier this month.
