Kotoko players, officials test positive for Covid-19

Information reaching Rainbowradioonline.com indicates that some players and officials of Kotoko have tested positive for Covid-19.

This news comes ahead of their second leg CAF CL game against Al Hilal today, Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Also, the Sudanese side has a player who has also tested positive for the deadly virus.

Kotoko would have to win the away fixture in order to qualify after they lost the first leg encounter in Ghana by a lone goal at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The players boycotted training in Sudan ahead of their CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal Omdurman due to unpaid bonuses.

The players are owed per diem of their last encounter in Mauritania against FC Nouadhibou where they drew 1-1.
