Kasoa Papase collapsed bridge needs urgent repair-DCE

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Awutu Senya West Mr. Stephen Kwame Quaye has today [Thursday, July 9, 2020] visited Kasoa Papase number two Dunkaw to examine the exempt of damage caused following the collapse of the only bridge on the road linking Amasaman in the Ga South District.

The DCE visited the area following a story filed by Rainbow Radio’s Kwadwo Asiedu Ansah over the need for authorities to repair the collapsed bridge.

The bridge had collapsed for several days and made it difficult for residents to move in and out of the area for business and other activities.

The DCE gave the assurance the collapsed bride would be repaired in the shortest possible time.

After assessing the situation he said, ”the situation is serious. It has affected economic activities in the area. I will take steps to have the collapsed bridge repaired. It is a situation that needs urgent attention,” he added.
