Kaaka could have been killed by robbers, don’t limit it to #FixThecountry-Retired soldier
Major (rtd) Derrick Oduro has asked politicians to desist from politicizing the death of the #FixThecountry member.
The former deputy minister of defence suggested the late Ibrahim Mohammed aka ‘Kaaka’ could have been killed for several reasons and not necessarily his involvement in the ongoing campaign.
He averred that he could have been attacked by armed robbers or other persons who wanted him dead.
He said the Police would need all this information to help them investigate the matter but the politicization could affect the probe.
Speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said security issues should not be dragged into partisan politics because murder is a serious crime and must not be encouraged by any reasonable person.
He asked the public to support the Police in investigating the matter and punish those behind the attack and murder of the social media activist.
To him, the group should have been allowed to demonstrate when they first decided to embark on their demonstration.
He said it is their constitutional right to demonstrate.
He added the government is on a mission in resolving the challenges confronting Ghanaians and as a people, we have to have faith in the current administration.
