I’ve resorted to personal training over COVID-19-Amoako
Liberty Professional’s George Amoako has voiced out his disappointment at the decision to have the local league halted due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in Ghana.
He was not happy that all the sporting activities have come to a standstill due to the deadly coronavirus.
George Amoako in an interview with radio host Isaac Worlanyo Wallace on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm said he has resorted to personal training as a player after the league was put on hold to help fight coronavirus in the country as directed by the president.
The player said he has materials which enable him to train personally and also play small post matches in his locality where he resides, a situation he noted keeps him fit.
In his view, personal training does not effectively make a player fit as compared to that of the team since it would make a player get a selection on a matchday.
He added personal training sometimes makes a player lazy.
He encouraged his fellow teammates to do their personal training to keep them fit and also stay safe to avoid coming in contact with the virus.
