I’II unseat incompetent Okaikwei North MP-Level 300 student

A level 300 linguistics and psychology student at the University of Ghana, Legon, Abdul Hamidu Futa has been elected to represent the Convention People’s Party (CPP) as a parliamentary candidate in the Okaikwei North constituency in the upcoming parliamentary polls.

The candidate speaking in an exclusive interview with Rainbowradioonline.com said his decision to contest is because the governing New Patriotic Party’s incumbent MP, Fuseini Issah, has failed the constituents and failed to provide leadership.

According to him, he deems it a great privilege to be part of this year’s parliamentary election.

The candidate who is currently the youth organizer of the constituency told the website that as a young adult, he believes that the views of the youth are crucial for national development and when they get the opportunity to hold office, it will further deepen that process.

He said taking up this responsibility comes with lots of expectations and “I do believe that with the help of the Almighty Allah, family and friends, I will render the best of services and be up to the task”.

The constituency he noted has been in the hands of the NPP for 16 years but the constituency has had nothing to show for the massive support they have given the elephant family.

He asserted that women are crying for help and even though the NPP is in power, the current MP has not provided any support.

He has promised lobby to have all the poor roads in the constituency fixed, expand clinics to hospital status to provide holistic healthcare for the constituents.

Aside from that, he wants to also construct sick bays in schools located in the constituency.

He wants to create an opportunity for the youth in the constituency to get jobs as well as provide a platform for talented ones to exhibit their talent.

To Ghanaian voters, he admonished them to vote massively for the CPP because both NDC and NPP have failed the nation.

The CPP he said remains the only alternative to transform Ghana because it has the track record.

A vote for the NDC and NPP he concluded is a wasted vote but a vote for the CPP is a vote for competence, accountability, corruption free government and transformation.

He charged voters to vote for the CPP’s presidential candidate Ivor Kobina Greenstreet because he is capable, competent, incorruptible, and credible.

Abdul Hamidu Futa is the nephew of the National Coordinator of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Futa.

His mother, Hajia Aisha Sulley Futa is the Women’s Organizer for the CPP.
