I did not make money from my hit track, ‘Agya Wa Wahwe Meso’-Rose Adjei

A former signee of Media Excel, Rose Adjei whose gospel track Agya Wa Wahwe Meso ft. Opiesie Esther gained massive airplay nationwide says she did not make money from the song contrary to what people perceived.

She disclosed this in an interview on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm with Sokoohemaa Kukua on Wednesday.

The musician said the only thing that made her happy was the fact that the lives of people were blessed by the song.

”I did not make money from the song. I did not. The only thing I was happy about was that the lives of people were touched by the song,” she said.

Meanwhile, the musician has also expressed sadness at her inability to host her Heart of Gratitude concert which was expected to have been organised in April this year.

Rose Adjei said the ban on social gatherings was announced barely a week to the ceremony despite the investments made into the event.

The event was set to attract thousands of worshippers and music lovers from far and near and was also supposed to be a live recording and her “NA GOD” album release concert.
