Some listeners of Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm have recounted their lockdown experiences one-year later.
From deceiving police officers to go and work to telling officers, they had to go and buy drugs for their sick relatives, each listener who called shared chilling stories.
They were some who only lied just to come to town to see if the lockdown was real of a mirage.
But one of the stories that stood out was that of a woman who was trading in plywood.
But after the lockdown was announced, she went into yam business, and out of the profits, she managed to build two separate, chamber and hall self contain.
Maame Serwaa was peaking to Kwabena Agyapong on the morning show.
”The lockdown helped me a lot. During the lockdown, I went into yam business. I was selling on credit to caterers and through the profits I made, I managed to construct two separate, chamber and hall self contained property. The lockdown helped me a lot. I was investing in my building and God has been good. I have rented the buildings now. When challenges confront us, we have to look for other opportunities,” she added.
