Ghana’s COVID-19 cases drop further below 1,000 mark

Ghana’s COVID-19 active cases have dropped below 1,000 for the first time in several months since the outbreak of the deadly disease in the country in March.

The Ghana Health Service says the current case count has dropped 904.

So far, 43,478 patients are recovering or getting discharged in some cases.

Forty-one (41) new cases were recorded, according to the release, pushing the total cumulative cases to 44,658.
