GFA Prez to receive Ghc12,000 as monthly allowance

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) President will now be receiving GH¢1,600 as sitting allowance after the proposals were passed at the Association’s Ordinary Congress today.

He is also expected to receive GH¢12,000 as monthly allowance.

The new rates are higher than what was given in 2018 (GH¢4,388) and almost double the amount paid (GH¢6,500) during the tenure of normalisation committee.

His Vice President will earn GH¢7,000 monthly and GH¢1,400 per sitting.

The ExCo members will receive GH¢4,000 every month and GH¢1,300 at every sitting.

Meanwhile, the president will receive $500 per day as travel and feeding allowance on international travels and GH¢600 on domestic assignments were also accepted.

The vice President will also earn $400 per day on international travels and GH¢500 on domestic assignments.

Other ExCo members will receive $300 per day on international travels and GH¢400 on domestic assignments.
