GFA Prez & team pays a courtesy call on Speaker of Parl
The newly elected F.A President of Ghana, Mr. Kurt E.S Okraku and his eleven council members paid (Wednesday) paid a courtesy on the Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Mike Aaron Oquaye.
The visit afforded the opportunity to introduce themselves.
Prof. Mike Aaron Oquaye in his submission urged the current F. A executive to do everything possible in winning trophies for the nation.
He further advised them to also do more to improve the local league right from division three to the premier and make it attractive to win more supporters not only for football but also for other sports disciplines.
Mr. Mike Oquaye promised the new F.A executive of all necessary support that would be needed in making Ghana Sports attractive and to gain its past glory.
Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Radio’s Philomina Kuntu Blankson, the Speaker and legislators on the Sports Committee for their advice and other inputs that could help the new F.A to improve sports in the country.
The Chairman for Youth, Sports and Culture committee, Alex Kofi Agyekum in an interview said the F.A visit to parliament Ias remarkable and very needful.
