Fame Sie was inspired after God saved me from a deadly accident-Akua Emelia
Fast-rising gospel artiste, Emelia Okrah, aka Akua Emelia, has disclosed the story behind her latest hit track Fame Sie featuring Francis Amoh.
The Media Excel signee speaking in an exclusive interview with DJ Slash said the song was released from her experience at a bus station, a situation which she noted could have cost her life.
Akua Emelia said she was going to board a bus but, the conductor refused to allow her board, the bus.
The musician said at a point, she felt angry and had exchanges with the conductor but, she was later called and informed that the bus had crashed with some passengers in critical conditions.
She said this hit her so hard because when she was exchanging the words with the conductor, she had no idea God was trying to save her from an accident.
This she stated, was how the story was shaped into her latest track.
Fame Sie, which literally translates as “hide me”, seeks God’s protection from the enemy.
This is the first official single released this year ahead of her upcoming album launch which will be released soon.
The well-arranged mid-tempo song, Fame Sie, which is written and composed by Akua Emelia, is a soul-touching inspirational song with good danceable tune and good backing vocals.
She has also revealed she currently working on an 8 track album which would be released in December this year.
She expressed gratitude Mr. Kwai Ernest, the CEO of Media Excel for discovering her.
To her, her breakthrough into the music scene is a calling because her songs would inspire, motivate and draw people to God.
