Elubo: We could not watch update 28 because of dumsor but we’re happy the borders have been opened-Residents

Residents in Elubo were unable to watch the 28th Covid-19 management update delivered by President Akufo-Addo on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

The residents say they had not had light for three days hence were not able to watch the update delivered by the President.

Reporting from the area, Paa Kwesi told the host of Frontline, Kwabena Agyapong on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, that the residents got wind of the update from others.

They have also expressed their happiness over the decision by the government to reopen the land and sea borders after two years they were closed following the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus.

President Akufo-Addo announced that effective today, Monday, 28th March, all land and sea borders will be opened.

Fully vaccinated travellers will be allowed entry through the land and sea borders without a negative PCR test result from the country of origin.

Citizens and foreign residents in Ghana, who are not fully vaccinated, will have to produce a negative 48-hour PCR test result, and will be offered vaccination on arrival.
