Also the issue of “Our poor roads, and the slow pace of fixing them; the many communities without electricity and/or water; the need to promote education via educational infrastructure and adequate teachers; the need to create avenues for youth not in formal education to acquire vocational and technical skills; and the upgrading of our Health care center into a District Hospital were tabled”.

The MP indicated his willingness to work with the Chief and, the DCE where necessary, on finding solutions to the challenges facing the people of Builsa South.

He further pledged 5000ghc towards the Fumbisi Community library project.

“We need a Library in Fumbisi our District capital, it’s long overdue. May I add that I’ve pledged a similar amount (5000ghc) towards the Doninga Market project, the Gbdema Community Centre Project, and the Kanjarga Community self-help efforts to fix the very very bad sections of the Fumbisi-Kanjarga-Doninga road,” he said.

He also used the occasion to update my constituents about some interventions made, questions asked on thier behalf in Parliament, and some projects completed and to be handed over soon, such as the Childrens ward at the Fumbisi heath care center.

“On the matters of the E-levy, I reassured them of my resolve and that of my side in Parliament to vote against the killer E-Levy. The thunderous applause said it all! No to e-levy No to momo tax.

Currently at a coded location, but, I will be in Parliament tomorrow as will my 136 colleagues to cast 137 NO on the E-levy bill if its sponsors muster the courage to lay it,” the MP added.
