Don’t dare insult me, I’ve not been paid for 3 months-Elmina Sharks coach

Head Coach of Elmina Sharks, Mr. Yaw Acheampong, has taken a swipe at supporters who have in recent times attacked him and his players.

The Coach says he is scandalised that people will come to watch matches and attack players and the coach when they lack an appreciation of the challenges confronting the team.

He said no one has the moral right to insult and attack him because he has rich experiences even before he was appointed as Head Coach for the club.

Mr. Acheampong said the attacks were not justified and has served caution he would have people who insult him arrested.

He disclosed to Rainbow Sports that he has not received his salary for the past three months hence it would be disingenuous for any supporter to insult him despite his sacrifice for the team.

”I have rich experience. I have played in Spain, Sweden. I have had it all before coming to Elmina Sharks. So, if come to the football park to insult the coach and a player; I have decided to report anyone who will insult me to the police. For three months, I have not received my salary. I have spoken to players of sea lions, they are hungry. They play matches and have nothing to eat.

”It would rather be prudent to support us with your money than to insult us. You cannot come to the park and insult the coach and players when they are sacrificing for the team. I have not received my salary for three months. I have children at home. I did not come to do charity work. Those insulting me, would they have worked if they are paid for three months?”
