Djaman residents chase MP, MCE over poor roads & water issues

Residents living in Djaman and Upper Weija communities of Accra have registered their displeasure with their Member of Parliament, Tina Gifty Naa Ayeley Mensah, and MCE, Patrick Kumor over what the residents describe as failure to deliver on their promises.

The constituents say the two leaders have failed to ensure that deplorable road networks in the area are fixed.

The residents told Rainbow Radio’s Fiifi Ankomah that they were promised that the deplorable roads are affecting their livelihoods.

According to them, the two leaders promised to have the poor roads fixed.

They want authorities to with immediate effect to address their concerns or they would advise themselves.

Aside from the poor roads, the residents are also lamenting that water was not flowing through their taps.

The residents stated that although they live closer to the Weija Head Works of Ghana Water Company, water does not flow in their taps frequently.
