COVID-19: COCOCOD office shut after staff tested positive
The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) will close down all its head offices in Accra for three days from today [Wednesday, July 8, 2020].
The closure will end on July 10 after some of its staff tested positive for COVID-19.
A statement signed by the Chief Executive of COCOBOD, Hon Joseph Boahen Aidoo said: “This has become necessary due to the mass testing the Organization is currently undertaking which has resulted in some staff members testing positive for COVID-19,” the statement said.
“All necessary arrangements have been made for the affected staff to receive the necessary medical attention and contact tracing is currently going to enforce quarantine and isolation measures, wherever applicable, of members families who have been in contact with such staff.
