Black Stars cannot win the African & World Cups, give women the chance-CEO, Hasaacas Ladies

National Women’s League giants Sekondi Hasaacas Chief Executive Officer Ms. Evelyn Nsiah has made a strong case for the development of women’s football.

Developing women’s football she argued must be a top priority since our women’s teams especially the female national team is more capable of winning trophies than men.

She noted that we must develop women’s football than men’s.

In her view, the male national team is not prepared and ready to win the African cup or the world cup hence the need to give the women the opportunity to excel.

“I don’t want to be a prophet of doom. But I don’t see the Black Stars lifting the African Championships or the World Championship, but the Black Queens can do that. You develop the Black Queens through the clubs, So if the clubs are developed, you would have a formidable team. The under 20 would be good, under 17 would be good, because it is a progressive stage,” she added.

According to her, the plan for them was to win the championship but their opponents were promised some $14,000 each as compared to what their side had hence the opponents put in their best to win the trophy.
