Be guided by the ethics of the prophetic ministry, don’t be callous-GPCC to Prophets
General Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, Rev. Emmanuel Barrigah has advised prophets to be guided by the ethos of the prophetic ministry.
The chief scribe of the Council said prophets and men of God must be responsible and disciplined in the discharge of their duties.
Rev. Barrigah revealed that members of the Council are expected to maintain high standards of Christian doctrine, ethics and attitudes among member churches as outlined in the Council’s Code of Ethics.
According to him, most of the prophets who prophesy doom are not members of the Council.
He said the Council have in place mechanisms in dealing with members who go contrary to the ethics and rules, and in some cases, they have taken action against persons who faulted.
He was speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
Rev. Barrigah we have to reach a point where churches and prophets and other men of God must promote healthy fellowship, that will activate great revivals.
He disclosed that as watchmen of the society, they have on several occasions invited prophets who are not members to engage them on some issues that are not healthy to the fellowship of Christ.
