Avoid debating South Africans over our match with them-Ghanaians in S/A told

Secretary-General of the Ghana Paralympic Committee Peter Adjei has advised Ghanaians in South Africa to be cautious in their celebration following Ghana’s controversial victory over the South African team.

The security analyst commenting on the issue on Rainbow Sports opined that the South Africans were agitated hence Ghanaians must take steps in minimizing their celebration.

A Ghanaian based in South Africa, Yaw Owusu was yesterday, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, allegedly killed in South Africa following the Black Stars 1-0 victory over Bafana Bafana in the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifier at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

The incident is said to have occurred in a town called Mzuluku after an argument over the penalty decision awarded to the Black Stars against South Africa.

Peter Adjei in his opinion advised Ghanaians in South Africa to avoid arguing about the match with South Africans.

He said Ghanaians in South Africa should also go to the Ghanaian embassy and seek help if necessary.

He said the game has incited anger from the South African fans and Ghanaians in South Africa must tread with caution.
