Attach great seriousness to BECE-Educationist to candidates
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Damans Education Consult, Christian Darabor has extended a goodwill message to all the candidates sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The CEO in a statement said the examination is of huge importance to their lives.
He has therefore entreated them to attach great seriousness to the exams by continuing to study hard as also eschew any form of examination malpractices which may adversely affect them eventually.
Mr. Darabor want the candidates to show respect to all persons involved in the examination venture ranging from invigilators, security officers, including their own colleagues.
“Abide by all rules and regulations governing the examination. I humbly expect incident-free examination this year. Finally, I wish them Good Luck and pray God to give them retentive memory, ” his statement read.
The 2020 edition of the Basic Education Certificate examination started on Monday, September 14 and will end on Friday, September 18 at all designated Examination Centres throughout the country.
According to the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), a total of 531,705 candidates are expected to sit for this year’s BECE in 2,007 examination centres across the country.
269,419 of the candidates are males while 262,286 are females.
