General Overseer of Kings International Chapel Apostle Douglas Kwasi Amanor says culture place a critical role in making a country progress.
Speaking to host of ‘Kyere Me Kwan’, Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirirfi on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said Ghanaians would have to appreciate and preserve their cultural practices to ensure the nation progresses.
Cultural practices that have helped in shaping characters and maintained discipline he lamented have been abandoned in the name of Christianity despite their value on life.
He referenced puberty rites, the processes leading to naming new borns among others to juxtapose his opinion.
