Founder of youth-led group the Economic Fighters League Ernesto Yeboah has declined his nomination for ‘Most Influential Young Ghanaian Award’.
The group in a statement which was issued and signed by Fighter General Hardi Yakubu commended the organizers (Aviance Media) for recognising Ernesto Yeboah but declined the nomination.
It is the case of the group that, the work of the Fighters League is just beginning and therefore the applause needs to be deferred.
”He however informed them that he was unable to accept the nomination for the Most Influential Young Ghanaian Award. This is because he believes the work of the Economic Fighters League, which he leads is just beginning and therefore applause needs to be deferred.
It is noted that people have started voting for him to win the award, which necessitated this statement. Their effort is appreciated but there is no need to vote because he has asked to be taken off the nomination list,” the statement said.
The Most Influential Young Ghanaians initiative is an annual awards and ranking scheme for young Ghanaian Achievers between 15-40 years, spearheaded by Avance Media a PR & Ranking firm in partnership with various Organisations.
The initiative is intended to disclose the true and genuine potentials of young people who are earnest to turn around the fortunes of Ghana’s economy and whose works are at par with their impacts.
It is also expected to serve as a source of encouragement to these young individuals whose commitment towards stimulating growth is undoubted.
